This role will help clients drive enhanced impact and efficiency from the Sourcing & Procurement function. Deloitte's sourcing work spans functional strategy, operating model design, indirect & direct category management, supplier risk & relationship management, digital procurement strategy & technology selection.The Consultant will work with cross-functional teams to:Support projects that establish the vision and mission for sourcing organizationsAnalyze current state operating models (including assessment of structure, roles, digital procurement / AI tech stacks, policies and governance structures) and design next-gen operating models, including those designed for AISupport the creation of category strategies, including conducting analysis on specifications / total cost of ownership, market trends & suppliers, and category management strategiesRun category sourcing events including drafting RFx documents, managing bids & negotiations, creating supplier award scenarios, and creating recommended implementation plansSupport the proactive monitoring of risk for clients and developing recommendations to mitigate those risks via supply market and internal actionsHelp establish future-state digital procurement technology ecosystems, including the prioritization / business case for agents and other AI toolsDevelop client-ready deliverables.Support workshops and working sessions with stakeholders across supply chain IT, procurement, and financeTrack risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions across project workstreamsThe teamOur team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive advantages. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value.You will work closely with operations leaders, plant managers, and IT teams to design and implement solutions that enhance production efficiency, quality, visibility, and traceability across the manufacturing value chain.QualificationsRequired3+ years of relevant experience in sourcing & procurement, supply chain or consultingExperience with one or more of the following: business strategy, operating model design, strategic category management, data & analytics, digital procurement technology strategy.Experience documenting business processes, requirements, and improvement opportunities.Experience in Excel, Powerpoint and WordBachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, economics, analytics, or a related field.Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferredExperience with digital procurement platforms including Ariba, Coupa, iValuaExperience supporting strategic sourcing, operations, negotiations.Advanced Excel, data visualization, AI, or analytics experience.The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
