Gastroenterology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterology (GI) provider for ASAC coverage in a hospital-based setting. The role focuses on high-volume endoscopy services, including ERCP, with no weekday night call and a predictable weekday schedule. Providers will work alongside an established onsite GI team with full hospital support services. Dates & Schedule Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 am 4:30 pmCall: 24-hour weekend call only (no weekday night call)Open Coverage Dates:January 22, 2026February 1, 2026February 5 13, 2026February , 2026March 4, 2026 Job Details & Responsibilities Provide GI services in a hospital-based clinic settingPerform endoscopy coverage and ERCP procedures (required)Manage GI consults during scheduled hours (7:00 am 4:30 pm)Daily volume includes approximately 18 outpatient scopes and 20 inpatient scopesCollaborate with onsite support staff including 2 physicians and 2 APPsUtilize Cerner EMR for documentationAccess to full onsite services including laboratory and X-rayParticipate in reverse invoicing using DocTime for time tracking Required Skills & Qualifications Board Certified in GastroenterologyRequiredERCP proficiencyRequiredActive Michigan medical license and CSR at time of submission RequiredDEA registration (verbal confirmation at name clear) RequiredACLS certificationRequiredCompleted GI fellowship with minimum 2 3 years of post-training experienceRequiredLocal candidate driving inRequiredClean background with no adverse actions (minimum malpractice acceptable) RequiredCOVID-19 vaccinationRequiredNPDB self-query within 30 days at presentation RequiredAbility to provide IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) if applicable (dates must be 60+ days out)Additional Health & Compliance Requirements:Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella (vaccine series or immunity titers)Influenza vaccine (current season)TB screening within 12 monthsTDAP within the last 10 years
