Gastroenterology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking an inpatient Locum-to-Perm provider to support hospital-based GI services. This position focuses on adult inpatient care with 24-hour call coverage and a procedural mix centered on ERCP, with EUS strongly preferred. Candidates must be genuinely interested in transitioning to a permanent role. Dates / Schedule Duration: Ongoing (Locum to Perm)Schedule: 24-hour call coverageCall Hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM Job Details & Responsibilities Provide hospital-based inpatient GI coveragePerform ERCP procedures (EUS highly preferred; ERCP-only candidates will be considered)Complete 3 4 outpatient procedures per day, along with inpatient procedures and consultsAdult patient population onlyUse Cerner EMR for documentationParticipate in 24-hour call coverage, including a minimum of 4 hours of gratis call timeComply with Trinity Health policies, including no reimbursement for application or credentialing fees Required Skills & Qualifications Interest in and attestation for Locum-to-Perm placementBoard Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)Active Iowa medical license or IMLC eligibilityACLS certificationProven ability and willingness to work inpatientERCP experience (required)EUS experience (highly preferred, not required)COVID-19 vaccination requiredClean malpractice history and background checkNPDB self-query (pulled within the last month) required at presentation
