Material Handler
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our manufacturing team as a Material Handler. In this position, you will play a key role in the efficient flow of production by managing raw materials, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, overseeing material preparation, and supporting overall operational needs.
Compensation and Schedule
First shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Second shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Third shift: Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Hourly rate ranging from $20 to $23, determined by the assigned shift
Core Responsibilities
Sanitize and service equipment such as hoppers, barrels, hoses, and dryers to ensure a contamination-free environment.
Confirm that all containers, materials, and hoppers are correctly labeled and identified prior to processing.
Help ensure consistent product quality by monitoring dryer settings and maintaining precise documentation of temperature logs.
Support the production line by staging, transporting, and returning necessary materials like resin, packaging, and colorants per work orders.
Ensure seamless data tracking by completing scanner transactions, ERP entries, and material-issuance paperwork.
Contribute to operational efficiency by maintaining precise inventory records and assisting with physical stock counts.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling machinery safely once you have received proper training and authorization.
Foster a productive workspace by keeping staging, storage, and production areas tidy, orderly, and hazard-free.
Protect team safety by promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions or damaged tools to maintenance or leadership.
Required Qualifications
Completion of a High School diploma or GED.
Approximately four years of background in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or material handling is preferred.
Prior experience operating a forklift is considered an asset.
Capacity to interpret and follow safety protocols, work orders, and production documentation.
Fundamental proficiency with computers and scanners, with preference given to those familiar with ERP or inventory software.
Strong focus on accuracy to ensure all records and inventory counts remain precise.
