Concrete Finisher $22-30/hr DOE

Division 3 Structures is seeking qualified Concrete Finishers for commercial construction at Chinle Elementary School Modernization job. $22-30 per hour DOE Preference given to Navajo Nation members per ONLR and NPEA. NPEA Employment decisions and personnel actions shall be based on the principles, intent and purposes of the Navajo Preference in Employment Act (“NPEA”) Minimum of one year experience of concrete construction work Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites Regular, and timely attendance is required for this position Knowledge of occupation hazards and standard safety precautions necessary in the workplace Knowledge of operating principles of all hand tools Ability to follow directions an work as a team is a must Ownership of hand tools and necessary small tool related to concrete finishing Usage of vibratory tools to fill air pockets in formwork Perform manual labor such as digging, mucking and shoveling Move objects weighing up to 100 pounds regularly Finish corners by hand, smoothing of high spots and ability to work cement into depressions prior to concrete setting Safely and efficiently operate and use associated tools and equipment Perform additional job duties as assigned to support completion of project Experience with power trowels, either walk behinds or double trowel riders Experience operating general site equipment Proof of Identity for Employment Authorization Pay rate is dependent on experience Fingerprint clearance card is a plus Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Accrued Paid Sick Time Email Resume or Fax to 623-581-5354 *Do not call regarding the position.
