JD Edwards / Application Business AnalystPosition OverviewWe are seeking a JD Edwards / Application Business Analyst to serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT for our JD Edwards ERP environment. The role focuses on analyzing business processes, designing and configuring JDE solutions, developing and maintaining reports, managing integrations, and ensuring data and system integrity across Finance modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll and general Accounting. The analyst will deliver requirements, support implementations and upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and train end users to maximize system value.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with finance, payroll and operational teams to gather, analyze and document business requirements and translate them into JD Edwards functional specifications.Design, configure and optimize JD Edwards modules (AP, AR, Payroll, General Ledger and related accounting areas) to meet business needs and adhere to best practices.Develop and maintain financial and operational reports using ReportsNow and native JD Edwards reporting tools; create and optimize SQL queries for accurate data retrieval.Design, implement and maintain integrations between JD Edwards and internal/external systems, ensuring data integrity and reliable data flows.Lead and support testing activities (unit, integration, system and user acceptance testing) for new features, patches and upgrades.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.Provide end-user support, create user guides and deliver training sessions to business users and support teams.Maintain detailed technical and process documentation, change logs and configuration records.Work with IT and vendors on upgrades, patches and system performance tuning while documenting impacts and rollback plans.Ensure compliance with security, audit and control requirements related to financial systems and data.Continuously identify process improvements, automation opportunities and best practices to increase efficiency and reduce risk.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.7+ years of hands-on JD Edwards (JDE) functional experience, preferably with exposure to multiple modules including AP, AR, Payroll and General Ledger.Proven experience developing reports with ReportsNow (Orchestra/Certinia) and strong SQL skills for querying and troubleshooting.Experience designing and supporting integrations between ERP systems and third-party applications; strong understanding of data integrity and reconciliation processes.Solid understanding of accounting and payroll processes and how they map to JD Edwards.Experience with software implementation lifecycle: requirements, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.Excellent analytical, problem solving and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders, including training and support capabilities.Familiarity with change control, security, audit and compliance practices in ERP environments.JD Edwards certification and experience with automation tools or middleware is a plus.BenefitsHealth/Dental/Vision401(k) w/ company matchLife & Long-term Disability InsurancePaid HolidaysPTO/Sick LeaveVehicle package Bonus program Email Your Resume In Word ToLance.Beyer@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
