Students in the programs gain work experience while earning extra income that will not reduce their K-TAP benefits. The placement of work-study students with both private and non-profit employers helps prepare them for the workplace by allowing them to gain work experience, job retention skills and earn extra income.Job Duties:On-campus: working in student service offices, labs, and various other campus departments.Off-campus: working in local elementary schools, small businesses, non-profit businesses, and various community service positions.
