Restoration Manager
Field Restoration ManagerThis position is responsible for managing field restoration personnel. Additionally this position is responsible for reviewing and approving time entries for their team that impact job costs and billing, as well as assigned personnel time off requests. As needed you may be called to oversee large losses that require additional management and supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, employees and insurance companiesCoordinate and manage multiple residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects of various complexitiesProvide technical explanations to clients, adjusters, consultants and othersMeet with estimators and project managers regularly to ensure accuracy of all work being performed and regular contact with customers is maintainedVisit job sites as necessary to ensure qualitySchedule daily work orders submitted from the estimators and project managers for restoration, contents and light rebuilds per staff capability.Provide constructive feedback and direction to complete tasks on time and within budgetEnsure all work crews are appropriately uniformedMeet with municipal inspectors and secure needed permits as requiredOversee all moisture mapping for water losses.Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed, including board-ups, water damage, fire and smoke damage, and vandalismRespond to emergencies including after hour responses as necessaryDevelop and manage a sustainable contents operational processConduct regular two-way assessments of staff performanceManage daily logistics and job assignments of field personnel and equipmentCoordinate daily needs with temp staffing companiesCoordinate job starts and schedule appointments with customers and clientsHandle customer complaints that pertain to quality of work or performance of employeesComplete accident, injury, & incident reporting formsWork as a team with local and national operations to promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the success of the entire BELFOR organization.Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as requiredOther projects and duties as assignedExperience and QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field, preferredMinimum 5 years' managerial experience with restoration, cleaning, and/or applicable construction industries on commercial, industrial, and/or institutional projects, or equivalentSense of urgency, professional appearance and demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethicProficient with restoration industry management system (Restoration Manager, DASH, Service Software, LUXOR), or equivalentHazardous material identification ability, including asbestos, lead paint, mold and IICRC unsanitary water categories 2, 3, and Special Situations strongly preferredExperience operating vehicles up to 26,000 GVW and operating truck-trailer combinations strongly preferredWilling to work nights and weekends and travel when necessary$500,000 single project capability and $1,000,000+ aggregate project capabilityIntermediate training and experience with two of the following:Water DamageFire DamageContents DamageAdvanced training and experience with one of the following:Water DamageFire DamageContents DamageFamiliarity of Material Safety Data Sheet (SDS) use preferredExperience with site-specific safety plansSatisfactory completion of OSHA Construction 30 hour course preferredValid EPA Lead RRP Certified Renovator license preferredKnowledge of DOT requirementsEligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policyProficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word)Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practicesWork under time constraints to meet specific timelinesPhysical RequirementsFrequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneelingAccess and mobility in tight spacesManual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasksThe ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.BELFOR Holdings is an Equal Opportunity Employer
