Job Title: Program Manager - Aerospace and DefenseJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team dedicated to driving development programs from contract award to qualification and production readiness. As a Program Manager in the aerospace and defense sector, you will leverage strong internal relationships to balance shared personnel and equipment resources, ensuring program effectiveness and timely completion.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the Business Unit Manager to drive development programs.Develop and maintain detailed project plans for relevant activities, durations, and deliverable dates.Lead action-driven and phase gate meetings to track program progress, performance, and budget adherence.Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives within product development and program management processes.Serve as the point of contact for managing customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and meeting measurable metrics.Utilize your experience with commercial and defense aerospace customers and products.Essential SkillsSignificant experience working with commercial and defense aerospace customers and products.Basic knowledge of aircraft systems and aerospace manufacturing processes.Experience with project tracking, Gantt charts, and budget management.Fluent in English speaking, writing, and reading.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Project Management software.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree.Demonstrated track record in customer-facing roles with effective relationship management.Minimum of 5 years of full-time industry experience.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to negotiate, influence, and delegate effectively.Authorized to work in the U.S.Work EnvironmentThis role requires a moderate level of travel and offers a clean work environment with updated machines and buildings. Employees will work both on the shop floor surrounded by CNC machines and assembly personnel, as well as in a cubicle. The work schedule consists of first shift hours, totaling 40 to 50 hours per week.
