JOB SUMMARYThe Wireman III is a senior, highly skilled individual contributor responsible for complex electrical assemblies, advanced troubleshooting, and supporting higher?level builds. This role serves as a technical mentor to Wireman I and II team members and partners closely with engineering on prototype, NPI, and continuous improvement efforts. This position is not a people?manager role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESExecute and lead complex electrical and control panel assemblies with minimal supervision Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root?cause analysis Support prototype, NPI, and engineering change builds Collaborate with Engineering to resolve design or manufacturability issues Provide technical guidance and on?the?job mentoring to Wireman I and II staff Identify and recommend process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, and repeatability Ensure work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards CORE COMPETENCIESAdvanced electrical assembly and wiring expertise Systematic troubleshooting and problem resolution Strong schematic and documentation interpretation Technical leadership without formal authority Continuous improvement mindset Quality and safety orientation REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent 58+ years of electrical assembly or wireman experience in manufacturing or industrial environments Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs Proven ability to work independently on complex builds PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExposure to automation systems or PLC?controlled equipment Experience supporting prototype or NPI builds Experience working in regulated, safety?sensitive, or quality?driven environments (e.g., manufacturing, industrial equipment) CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $65,000 $85,000 per year.
