Salary Description: $28.00-$31.00 Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Competitive Benefits Hours: 8 A.M.-4:30 P.M. FALA Technologies is looking for a passionate Manufacturing Floor Manager/Scheduler. As a production scheduler, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of manufacturing processes. Your ability to strategically plan and manage production schedules directly impacts the overall success of the operation. There is room to grow at FALA and we hope to have you join our team!ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Floor Manager , Manufacturing Scheduler , is responsible for supporting Manufacturing operations by setting up workload priorities for manufacturing operations .The individual will coordinate and communicate customer requirements through a data base to manufacturing employees and assure for the final delivery requirement are met . This position interfaces with the VP of manufacturing to communicate any issues that may arise between the operator and the customer specifications . The individual track the workload and the manpower hours to assure that costing is in line with the proposed budget estimates. Efficient operations are essential for business success. Floor managers oversee daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. They manage inventory, maintain shop cleanliness, and enforce company policies. Good floor managers find ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Floor managers contribute to sales and overall business performance. They set sales goals for the team and track progress. They identify sales opportunities and implement strategies to increase revenue. Floor managers analyze corrective action data and use it to make informed decisions. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the staffEnsuring that all employees are performing their job responsibilities efficientlyManaging inventory and ensuring that all products are adequately stockedAddressing and resolving customer complaints and inquiriesMaintaining high standards of customer serviceEnsuring compliance with health and safety regulationsMonitoring sales requirement and adjusting strategies as neededTraining new staff members and providing ongoing training for existing staffCommunicating with upper management about any issues or improvements that need to be madeConducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedbackQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent (associate degree or B.S. in logistics, supply chain, business administration, manufacturing training, or related fields are typically preferred)At least two years of experince in supervisor positionIn-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory, supply management systems, GDT, subcontractor, and ghant charting Excellent communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing and the ability to maintain vendor relationshipsDirect experience with spreadsheet computer applicationsAbility to work with Solid works a plus
