For more information, please visit our website: www.mmrgrp.com.Job Duration: up to 2 yearsJob Schedule: 55-66 hours weeklyRate: $63-$70/hour depending on experiencePer Diem: $1,050 per week if all qualifications are met.The Project Manager's role is to lead all onsite activities of the project to ensure the cost effective execution of all project deliverables in accordance with the customers contract specification, quality standards, schedule and safety requirements during the construction, commissioning, start-up, closeout and turnover of the completed project.Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the projectPlan, develop and organize the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that planAssist the project director with conducting inspections, completing reports and attaining all necessary permitsConsult with the project director to review the budget and determine the scope of work requiredDirect and motivate supervisory personnel, subcontractors and staffMonitor and report project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner to the project directorEnsure all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documentedDefine clear roles and responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to supervisorsMonitor construction productivity and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performanceImplement and enforce all QA/QC proceduresAttend safety training as directedCommitment to the company goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety proceduresEmployee must be able to travel to and from the jobsite via personal vehicle or other public form of transportationQualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience8–12+ years industrial construction experience5+ years managing electrical / industrial / mission critical scopesExperience with contracts, billing, forecasting, procurement, change management, and client communicationExperienced in deploying the last planner system and work package constructionMust understand schedule, staffing, risk, turnover, and financial controlsMust have ability to read blueprints, drawings, technical manuals and based on them, perform necessary operations for the installation and/or repair of equipmentMMR offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and numerous other voluntary benefits.MMR Group, Inc. and its affiliated companies ("MMR") is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, veteran status, genetic information or any other legally protected class.
