A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - ER/n/nJob Details:/n• Maintain professional image and demonstrate excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers/n• Assess patient needs through history collection, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis/n• Plan and provide individualized nursing care to meet holistic, age-specific patient needs/n• Implement appropriate nursing interventions consistent with Plan of Care and standards of practice/n• Conduct hourly rounds using service excellence standards/n• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff/n• Follow standard work protocols for central lines, foley catheters, pressure ulcers, ventilators, restraints, and fall risk patients/n• Serve as charge nurse when assigned and maintain Advanced Resuscitative Certification/n• Precept novice employees and contribute to department efficiency/n• Participate in Evidence Based Practices and hospital-system initiatives/n• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and educational participation/n• Carry assignment of 4 patient rooms with support from floating charge nurse/n• Foster caring, compassionate environment for patients, families, and visitors/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility features a comprehensive 22-bed Emergency Department equipped with 3 dedicated behavioral health beds, 2 trauma rooms, and 17 standard emergency department beds.
