Our people make all the difference in our success.Here’s a Summary Of The RoleWe’re looking for a detail-oriented Survey Operations Analyst to join YouGov’s Scientific Research Group (SRG), the team behind cutting-edge public affairs, academic, technology, and health research. In this role, you’ll help bring complex surveys to life across multiple global markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support research that shapes policy, media conversations, and decision-making around the world.If you enjoy problem-solving, coding, and making data collection run seamlessly, this role offers the perfect blend of programming, analytical thinking, and impact.Here’s a Breakdown Of What You’ll DoProgram complex surveys using YouGov’s in-house scripting language (built on Python)Set up surveys across multiple markets and languagesTest user experience across browsers, devices, and platformsMonitor survey performance, investigate issues, and resolve data collection problemsClean and prepare data deliverables for researchers and clientsWhat You Need To Get An InterviewBachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience1+ year of hands-on programming experience in Python and/or RExperience working with large datasets using tools like R, Python, SPSS, etc.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong communication skills (written + verbal)Comfort working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teamsDesired qualifications (bonus points!)Experience or training in survey researchFamiliarity with terminal commands or GitExperience with multi-language or multi-market survey buildsInterest in public affairs, academic research, or applied social scienceFor roles based in California, New York, Colorado, Massachusetts, or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $70,000 - 78,000 USDCompensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and additional benefits.All US based full time employees are eligible for the following benefits:Paid vacation, holidays and sick daysFlexible working arrangement availableGroup medical, dental and vision insuranceCompany-paid life and disability insurancePaid parental leave401(k) with company matchWhy join YouGov?Join our global team to help us achieve our social mission: to make millions of people’s opinions heard for the benefit of our local, national, and international communities.Understanding diversity of opinion requires diversity of background.
