Product Manager I, Payments Platform Enterprise Credit_corporate_fare_ Google _place_ Mountain View, CA, USA**Mid**Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.**Minimum qualifications:**+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.+ 3 years of experience in product management, or a related technical role.+ Experience in financial services or insurance industry.+ Experience collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and Finance teams to launch technical products.**Preferred qualifications:**+ Master's degree in a technology or business related field.+ Experience applying Machine Learning (ML) or automated agentic workflows to optimize processes or manage risk.+ Experience successfully building and launching 0-to-1 credit products, from initial market scoping to execution and scale across enterprise, SMB, or consumer segments.+ Understanding of the evolving credit landscape, including experience leveraging alternative data underwriting, real-time risk assessment, or advanced predictive modeling to create novel financing solutions.+ Track record of identifying, evaluating, and capitalizing on new market opportunities within the fintech or alternative lending ecosystem.+ Strong problem solving capability to evaluate complex data.**About the job**As a Product Manager on the Payments Platform Credit team, you will lead the evolution of the systems powering our enterprise credit offerings. In close partnership with the Finance Credit team, you won't just maintain legacy platforms-you will completely reimagine them. You will advocate the integration of advanced Machine Learning (ML) for payment risk and deploy agentic flows to automate our current processes. By shifting to proactively intelligent systems, you will effectively manage Google's credit risk while exploring emerging SMB and consumer initiatives.Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
