Midlevel Java Developer

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain laboratory information capture system Build and maintian access to back-end databases Create utilities to import data from laboratory instruments Build UI components using JSP and Swing Interface and collaborate with laboratory scientists Adapt development strategies in order to meet deadlines Required Qualifications: B.S. degree in CS, engineering, or scientific discipline 2+ years Java software development experience Java/Swing GUI development Experience with JSP or related technologies Ability to build both rapid prototypes and production-grade software Experience with Hibernate a plus Experience with LIMS systems a plus Ability to work in a team environment Strong communications skills Desire to work at a start-up
