As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.The Platforms Privacy team is focused on the Android platform and ecosystem including first-party devices, services, apps, and infrastructure as well as the associated third-party ecosystem. The team of program managers partners with privacy engineers to provide early privacy consultation during product development and launch-related privacy reviews for products, services, and features. The team works with multidisciplinary teams to solve difficult hardware and software privacy problems that ultimately benefit the entire Android ecosystem.As a Technical Program Manager in Platforms Privacy, you will be responsible for leading and managing programs and projects within reviews and strategy, and privacy enablement portfolio pillars. You will work cross-functionally alongside privacy engineers and will have a direct impact across platforms and devices products.You will drive a range of privacy review and privacy enablement projects. You will also help the privacy team scale to sustainably and predictably deliver high quality privacy reviews and guidance.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
