Assigns work, monitors and develops work performance of caregivers in assigned area. Assumes responsibility for resource allocation during assigned shift. Applies systematic problem solving approach in developing, implementing and evaluating plans for patient flow/placement and efficiency for patient care outcomes and satisfaction. Facilitates admissions, transfers, and discharges by interacting with bed control, multiple departments, nursing management, nursing staff and social services, physicians, other agencies, etc. accountable for verification of census reconciliation.Formal Education Required Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of OhioExperience & Training RequiredThree (3) years related professional experienceOne (1) year in a supervisory capacityOther Skills, Competencies And QualificationsAbility to work assigned alternate shift weekendsAbility to problem-solve in clinically complex situationsExcellent communication, leadership, organization and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well within a team environment by accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals and encouraging fellow team membersCompetencies in assigned area of responsibility are determined by divisional leadershipPopulation Specific Competency: ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignityEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled$44.78/hr - $53.74/hrThe salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
