Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will DoProvide IT systems administration support in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows environment.Manage and maintain core services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (AD), and server replication.Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues involving integration of hardware, operating systems, and software applications.Implement and manage data RAID, backup, and recovery technologies.Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain compliance with security requirements.Install, configure, and document software applications requested by end users.Provide user and system documentation, process training, and ongoing technical support.Participate in on-call or after-hours system maintenance as required to support 24x7 operations.Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date.Travel up to 5% domestically based on business needs.Full time 100% Onsite positionQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Experience using Active Directory, VMware vCenter, vSphere, or other virtual computing methods.Experience with Windows deployment, administration, security hardening, and troubleshooting.Qualifications We PreferAn active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearanceExperience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity productsScripting ExperienceExperience using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
