Also assists supervisor with scheduling, work assignments, and performance reviews.JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and ValuesResponsible for leading, examining and inspecting the quality of work performed by assigned personnel making certain that all rooms meet Harrah's standardsKeeping all rooms cleaned in a timely manner.Follow-up of room walk through, special cleaning assignments, maintaining department cleanliness and training standardsFollow and ensure security and safety standards are in placeAssist or provide feedback throughout the PAF processMake recommendations to the Housekeeping Shift Supervisor regarding the day to day supervision of Room Attendants and HousepersonsComplete room inspections before rooms are released for guest useClean rooms as neededPerform the duties of both the room attendant and houseperson as neededProvide feedback to both Room Attendants and Houseperson to ensure tasks are performed to standardServe as a role model to her/his staffAssist with assigning room attendants and housepersons to daily tasks while maintaining quality cleanliness standards set forth by the departmentAssist with coaching and developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor while clearly articulating expectationsAssisting with supervising, directing, assisting and monitoring the performance of all Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure the completion of housekeeping tasksAssist with providing direction and support for all staff members to achieve department goals and objectivesDemonstrate high levels of Spotlight service skills on a consistent basisDelight our guests with outstanding resort level serviceAdhere to all regulatory, company and department policies/procedures in an ethical mannerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED requiredOne year experience in hospitality industry, housekeeping experience requiredMust demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:Excellent customer service/public relations skills requiredStrong organizational, communication and supervisory skills requiredExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsMust be able to operate an I-Touch handheld deviceProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookSelf-starter; must work without close supervisionAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentNeat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene*Knowledge of LMS preferred*Knowledge of Harrah's employment policies*Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) Training*Risk Management training*Knowledge of the HotSOS/REX programs*Not required at time of hire; may be learned in probationary period agreed upon at time of hire.PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:Must be able to work in small, shared office spaceMust be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip itemsMust be able to respond to visual and aural cuesMust be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry 5 poundsMust be able to work around dogs/petsMust be able to walk and stand for long periods of timeMust be able to work with various chemicalsMust be able to tolerate area containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds and air quality including second hand smokeMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
