Golf Instructor

About the Role We are seeking a motivated, professional golf instructor to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching players of all skill levels, excel at working with junior golfers, and be proficient with modern golf technology. This position offers flexible scheduling, including opportunities to lead golf schools, group clinics, and private lessons. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality golf instruction to players of all ages and skill levels Conduct both private lessons and group clinics/golf schools Develop customized lesson plans to help students improve consistently Utilize modern technology to enhance learning (e.g., TrackMan or similar launch monitor systems, video analysis, flight data) Work effectively with junior golfers, ensuring a fun, safe, and educational environment Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to players and, when appropriate, to parents Collaborate with course staff to schedule lessons, clinics, and schools Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the course's standards of customer service Ideal Candidate Qualifications Proven experience teaching players across all skill levels (beginners to advanced) Demonstrated ability to work well with juniors and develop junior programming Proficiency with modern golf technology (e.g., TrackMan, Foresight, launch monitors, video analysis) Strong communication skills and a patient, engaging teaching style Ability to design and run group clinics and golf schools Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage a flexible schedule PGA or related coaching certifications not required if equivalent experience is strong Knowledge of course facilities, safety guidelines, and proper on-course conduct What We Offer Flexible hours as an Independent Contractor Opportunities for golf schools, group clinics, and private lessons Competitive compensation structure (per lesson/hour) Access to course facilities and practice areas Supportive team environment with potential for long-term engagement Scheduling & Availability Flexible, contractor-friendly schedule Availability for daytime, evening, and weekend sessions as needed Ability to coordinate and run multi-day clinics or seasonal programs as appropriate How to Apply A current resume or teaching résumé A brief statement outlining your teaching philosophy and experience with all skill levels and juniors Examples of technology you use in instruction (e.g., TrackMan data usage, video analysis) Relevant certifications and reference Referrals Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Lake of Isles by 2x Get notified about new Golf Instructor jobs in Mashantucket, CT .
