Senior Drupal Developer

Responsibilities include:Design, develop, and deploy modular micro-services and cloud-based systems, including Drupal-based web applicationsUnderstand the needs of stakeholders and convey those needs to other developersWrite and debug code for innovative software solutions, including custom Drupal modules and themesTroubleshoot software quality, security, and reliability issuesParticipate in code reviews and quality assurance activitiesAutomate unit and functional testsTest and examine code written by others and analyze resultsEnsure that software is secure against cyber threats, including adherence to Drupal and web application security best practicesIdentify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and fixesDocument software code, features, and training guidesDocument the as-is state of the environment, perform gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendationsLeverage virtualization and containerization to optimize and modernize software systemsAct as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team membersEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services providedQualifications:Required:Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security ClearanceBS degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field with 2 years of related IT experience10+ years of total professional experience3+ years of hands-on Drupal experience to include developing custom Drupal modules, themes, and site configurations (Drupal 8/9/10)3+ years of experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript3+ years of experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, or BitbucketExperience working in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
