Storage Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced professional to support and manage enterprise storage systems in an IPv6-enabled network environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of storage infrastructure, while also supporting IPv6 configuration and troubleshooting across storage platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, administer, and maintain storage systems including SAN, NAS, and Direct Attached Storage (DAS).Monitor storage capacity, system health, and performance metrics; troubleshoot and resolve issues.Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions.Ensure high availability and optimal performance of storage infrastructure.Configure and support storage technologies operating over IPv6 and IPv4 networks.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.Maintain documentation and support ongoing system improvements.Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in storage engineering/support.Hands-on experience with storage management, administration, and maintenance (SAN, NAS, DAS).Experience monitoring storage performance, capacity, and health metrics.Strong experience with backup and disaster recovery processes.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.Nice to HaveStrong knowledge of IPv6 networking, including addressing, routing, subnetting, and troubleshooting.Experience configuring storage systems in IPv6 environments.Eligibility RequirementsAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearance.Work EnvironmentOnsite role – 5 days per week in Washington, DC.Washington, DC, the capital of the United States, is known for its rich history, cultural landmarks, and vibrant community.
