Position Overview
Florida Physician Group, a member of HSA Hospitals (Hospital Systems of America), is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our expanding cardiovascular program at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, South Florida.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care.
Perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures.
Participating in STEMI call coverage (1:4 rotation)
Collaborate closely with cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic surgery teams.
Participate in education, training, and cardiovascular program development.
Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical outcomes initiatives.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals, such as cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic surgery teams, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans; participate in case reviews, care planning meetings, and other collaborative decision-making.
Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of medical records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Support or engage in clinical research, protocol development, and teaching initiatives, if applicable.
Comply with hospital bylaws, departmental policies, and professional practice regulations.
Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications & Skills
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
Additional fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in Interventional Cardiology required.
Active and valid medical license in the State of Florida.
Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association, CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross, each certification within 120 days of hire.
Florida DEA registration upon hire.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Strong commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
Recent graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply.
Experience in a high-volume interventional practice preferred.
