IT Deployment & End-User Support SpecialistAndiamo is hiring on behalf of a client seeking a highly organized and customer-focused IT Deployment & End-User Support Specialist to play a key role in a large-scale enterprise technology refresh program. From device provisioning and migration support to direct employee interaction and equipment logistics, you will help ensure a seamless technology experience throughout the hardware refresh lifecycle.Position OverviewAs an IT Deployment & End-User Support Specialist, you will serve as a critical bridge between technical operations and employee support. You will be responsible for configuring new devices, assisting users through technology transitions, coordinating equipment exchanges, and providing hands-on support throughout the deployment process.This role offers the opportunity to work with modern device management technologies while building strong relationships with employees across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevice Provisioning & ConfigurationPrepare and deploy enterprise laptop systems using modern device imaging and provisioning platforms.Configure new hardware through cloud-based deployment and automated endpoint management solutions.Validate device readiness, software installations, security configurations, and user settings prior to deployment.Perform quality assurance checks to ensure devices meet organizational standards.User Migration & Technology Refresh SupportGuide employees through device replacement and migration activities.Support file transfers, user profile migrations, and restoration of critical business data.Assist with browser settings, bookmarks, preferences, and other user-specific configurations.Ensure a smooth transition from legacy equipment to newly deployed devices.Provide hands-on troubleshooting and post-deployment support to address user concerns quickly and effectively.Customer Service & CommunicationServe as a primary point of contact for employees participating in technology refresh initiatives.Communicate deployment schedules, device readiness updates, and support instructions clearly and professionally.Deliver a positive customer experience by resolving issues with urgency, empathy, and technical expertise.Maintain clear documentation of deployment activities, support requests, and completed work.Asset Management & LogisticsCoordinate collection and processing of retired technology equipment.Track shipping information and support inventory management activities.Assist with packaging, labeling, and movement of hardware between departments and operational areas.Manage device retrieval, exchange, and deployment workflows while maintaining accurate records.Support the refresh and deployment of additional technology assets as business needs require.Operational SupportPartner with IT teams to ensure deployment schedules and project timelines are achieved.Support ongoing technology initiatives and operational projects.Assist with equipment staging, inventory audits, and deployment readiness activities.Perform other technology support functions that contribute to a successful end-user computing environment.What We're Looking ForStrong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help others succeed.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.Professional demeanor when interacting with employees across all levels of the organization.Preferred Technical ExperienceExperience deploying and configuring Windows-based laptops and desktop systems.Knowledge of modern endpoint management and device provisioning tools.Experience supporting user migrations, data transfers, and device refresh programs.Familiarity with cloud-based deployment technologies and automated configuration processes.Understanding of IT asset management, inventory tracking, and hardware lifecycle management.Experience working within enterprise or corporate IT environments is highly desirable.Work EnvironmentFull-time onsite position, Monday through Friday.Typical schedule is approximately 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.Work is performed within a professional corporate office environment.Regular movement throughout the facility may be required, including trips to operational and mailroom areas.Ability to safely lift, transport, and move technology equipment weighing up to 30 pounds is required.Why Consider This Opportunity?This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives while making a direct impact on employee productivity and satisfaction.
