As we continue on a strong growth trajectory, we're looking for someone who's excited to grow with us and help shape how we operate behind the scenes.The RoleWe're looking for a full-time Accounting Associate to lead our Accounts Payable process and support Accounts Receivable — someone who understands construction accounting and enjoys being an integral part of a growing company.This role is not just transactional. We're looking for someone who thinks critically, understands job cost structure, and wants to contribute ideas on how we can continue improving our systems and processes as we scale.What You'll Be DoingAccounts Payable (Primary Focus):Process vendor and subcontractor invoicesEnsure proper approvals and accurate job cost codingManage weekly check runs / ACH paymentsReconcile vendor statementsMaintain compliance documentation and organized digital recordsAccounts Receivable (Support):Assist with client invoicing and progress billingsTrack incoming payments and maintain AR agingSupport follow-up on outstanding balancesConstruction Accounting Responsibilities:Work within and help maintain our Chart of AccountsSupport and understand WIP (Work in Progress) reportingEnsure accurate use of cost codes and job cost trackingCollaborate with project managers to align budgets, commitments, and actualsGrowth & Process Improvement:Provide feedback based on prior experienceIdentify opportunities to improve workflows and reportingBring critical thinking to our current systems and help refine themContribute to building scalable financial processes as we growWhat We're Looking For:1 year minimum construction accounting experience (required)Hands-on experience with Chart of Accounts, WIP reporting, and cost codesStrong Accounts Payable backgroundFamiliarity with construction or accounting softwareHighly organized and detail-orientedClear communicator who enjoys collaborating with project teamsSomeone excited about growth — both personally and as a companyMost importantly, we're looking for someone who doesn't just want a job — but wants to help build something.
