Electrical Service Manager

Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Service Manager to oversee electrical projects and service operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, construction management, and project coordination, with the ability to lead teams effectively and ensure project success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex electrical systems, coordinate with clients and contractors, and contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects. Duties Lead and manage electrical service projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgets. Oversee the design and system integration of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NEC standards and safety regulations. Develop detailed construction estimates using tools like HeavyBid and construction estimating techniques. Utilize project management software such as Primavera P6 and Primavera for scheduling, resource allocation, and project tracking. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution and communication. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of electrical designs. Manage contracts, procurement processes, and subcontractor activities related to electrical services. Monitor project progress on-site, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion of tasks. Prepare reports on project status, risks, and issues for senior management. Implement best practices in construction management and electrical system design to optimize efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in electrical engineering within the construction or heavy industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of NEC codes, system design principles, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Demonstrated expertise in construction site management, project scheduling (Primavera P6), and construction estimating (HeavyBid). Proficiency with project management tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam. Experience in contract negotiation, project coordination, and construction management. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively. Strong leadership qualities with experience managing teams on large-scale projects. Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical engineering or construction management are preferred. This position is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of complex electrical projects while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
