Job Description SummaryThe Senior Project Manager leverages project methodology to provide leadership that supports the development, implementation, and completion of medium to large-scale projects. These projects typically have high visibility and risk, involve multiple business units, and impact multiple software applications.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the most complex and high-visibility projects, requiring proven senior-level project management skills.Collaborate with business unit managers and project sponsors to establish project scope, deliverables, budget, and schedule.Support the IT team's business segment goals by providing project management services.Assemble project teams and manage ongoing projects by identifying risks, implementing changes, and monitoring and communicating progress.Ensure team members are managed effectively and kept informed of all related issues.Ensure project deliverables meet customer needs.Perform other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications5 years of related experienceBachelor's DegreePreferred QualificationsPMI CertificationKnowledge of creating and tracking project schedules in Microsoft ProjectExperience with project management processes and standardsHigh degree of professional confidence and credibility with effective communication skills for representing IT-related conceptsAdaptability, self-starter, team player, quality-minded, focused, committed, and able to work independently
