DescriptionOur client is seeking an experienced Group Health Actuary for a corporate individual contributor role. You will oversee all actuarial functions for health and welfare benefit plans and act as the primary liaison with third-party consultants.Key Responsibilities:Actuarial Oversight: Manage pricing, risk analysis, and underwriting soundness for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.Financial Reporting: Lead reserving, experience monitoring, and assumption setting to ensure plan integrity.Strategy & Compliance: Align benefit offerings with business goals and monitor legislative impacts/market dynamics.Vendor Management: Direct third-party actuarial consultants and facilitate internal data sharing.Advisory: Provide technical expertise and financial status updates to the Chief Actuary and management.Qualifications:Experience: 12+ years in healthcare actuarial analysis for group benefits.Credentials: ASA required; FSA a plus.Skills: Expertise in product pricing, risk assessment, and managing complex actuarial workflows without direct reports.
