Other duties may be assigned.Maintaining company culture and service-minded integrityBuilding positive relationships with all patients and team membersPerforming all office opening procedures correctly and in a timely mannerAttending Huddle at 7:15 AM, dailyManaging patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and collecting paymentsReviewing patient documentation for accuracy and completeness, including dental coding for billing purposesSupporting the overall efficiency of the practice by performing additional administrative tasks as neededProviding new patient management according to operating proceduresEnsuring patients have pre-medicated if prescribed by treatment plan prior to procedureContacting patients who are late to arrive – beyond a 15-minute window, likely the patient will need to be rescheduled for another dateCommunicating effectively with all team members within the officeComplying with company procedural guidelines, standard operating procedures and safety proceduresContributing to a team-oriented, continuous improvement, quality processQualificationsEducation/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED. Minimum 1 Year customer service experience with 2 years’ clinical experience looking to move to the front office.Language AbilityAbility to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Excellent phone etiquette. Excellent verbal communication skills. Bi-lingual abilities an asset.Reasoning and Situation Management AbilityPossess high levels of common sense understanding to carry out detailed, written, or oral instructions; dealing with problems sometimes involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer SkillsKnowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access). Experience with dental platform software; preferably Curve, which we use in the office.Work EnvironmentWarm and friendly mid-century modern office with loads of light and ‘elbow room’.
