Outside Service Sales / Estimator for a Commercial Truck and Trailer Shop Interstate Utility Trailer, a full-service commercial semi-trailer dealership, has an excellent opportunity for a service writer in our Indianapolis IN service center. Communicating with customers on repair progress Reviewing and closing equipment work orders. Reviewing and prioritizing equipment repair write-ups. Qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license Strong Computer skills Good written and oral communication skills and eagerness to improve Strong listening skills as they relate to workload, time management, and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment Effective problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills Strong mechanic background Mechanical aptitude Experience in the truck and trailer repair is a plus Experience writing commercial estimates Self Motivated Must be able to work independently Service Writer experience a plus Physical Requirements: Sitting, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
