POSITION INFORMATION: BASIC DETAILSLocation: Surprise, AZTravel Requirement: est. 50%Teleworking: YesFull-Time/Part-Time: Full-TimeFLSA Status: ExemptPay: Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.POSITION SUMMARY INFORMATION: DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTSJob Summary: The Project Manager for Fusion Electronic Health Record (EHR) is responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of EHR systems across detention healthcare environments. This role ensures successful deployment, operational integration, and compliance with clinical, regulatory, and contractual requirements. The Project Manager acts as the central liaison between corporate medical operations, IT, facility leadership, and client stakeholders, ensuring that EHR systems effectively support healthcare delivery and reporting.Duties/Responsibilities:Some of your duties may include:Lead implementation and operational management of the Fusion EHR system across assigned facilitiesCoordinate EHR integration with clinical workflows, including intake, ambulatory care, behavioral health, pharmacy, and specialty carePartner with Health Services Administrators (HSAs) and onsite medical leadership to ensure system adoption and optimizationMonitor system performance, data integrity, and reporting accuracyDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for EHR initiativesProvide training, support, and guidance to clinical and administrative staffCollaborate with IT teams on system configuration, upgrades, and issue resolutionSupport healthcare mobilization/startup efforts for new facilitiesIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and patient care outcomes using EHR toolsManage competing priorities in a fast-paced, operational environmentAdaptable and flexible in adjusting plans and strategies to accommodate changes in project scope, timelines, or budgets.Possesses a solid understanding of technical project components and collaborates effectively with technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.Proactively identifies, escalates, and helps resolve project barriers to maintain progress and meet objectives.Capable of presenting materials and facilitating both in-person and remote team meetings with confidence and professionalism.Strong leadership skills with a high level of comfort in public speaking and team engagement.Quick learner with the ability to rapidly adapt to new tools, processes, and environments.Serves as a liaison between Fusion EHR and Medical Corporate leadership ensuring alignment, communication, and operational efficiency.Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in: Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics or related equivalent.Minimum 3 years of program or project management experience, preferably in healthcare or related equivalentExperience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems implementation or managementStrong understanding of healthcare operations and regulatory EHR complianceExperience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teamsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office 365Preferred Certifications and Experience:Experience in correctional or detention healthcare environmentExperience managing healthcare startup or mobilizationExperience with electronic health records systems specifically Fusion EHRPrior Health Services Administrator, Director of Nursing, IT ManagerCertified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferredWork Environment:Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.Physical Requirements:Employees may be required to remain in a stationary position, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach.
