Admissions Program Manager I-Education and Enrollment Services

Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of Admissions Operations, the Admissions Manager is part of the Admissions Office management team, with dedicated focus on the support of graduate certificate, master's, and PhD programs.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for documenting and refining standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with admission processes, and implementing quality-control checks to safeguard accuracy and efficiency.Participate in the management of application software tools (e.g., ZAP), ensure accuracy and security of data, and produce regular reports to ensure data validity, business process adherence, etc.Master various technology solutions to support recruitment, admission and enrollment processes.Collaborate with Program Administrators to improve data capture, analytics, and system functionality and serve as a technical expert on the admission application platform.Support Program Administrators in their screening, interviewing, and decision processes.Manage onboarding activities for incoming students, including the development and execution on a multi-channel communication plan.Participate in in-person recruiting events and virtual recruiting events; including but not limited to virtual information sessions, alumni panels, webinars, and virtual office hours.Provide effective communication to prospective applicants through phone, email, and zoom.Partner with colleagues throughout the Enrollment Services Department (Admissions, Disability Services, Student Financial Services and Registrar) as well as Program Administrators to ensure the delivery of a high level of service to every student.Produce reports for student service teams, including but not limited to International Personnel, Student Affairs, Student Health Offices, etc.Participate in pre-enrollment compliance activities, including but not limited to creation of toxicology and background check orders, tracking of requirement completions, and generating completion reports.Performs other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelors degree or greater preferred, or a combination of applicable experience and educationMinimum of three years of professional experience in recruitment, admissions or student advising within a higher education setting required.Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.Non-Bargaining Unit, 802 - Enrollment Services - ISM, Icahn School of MedicineAbout UsStrength through Unity and InclusionThe Mount Sinai Health System is committed to fostering an environment where everyone can contribute to excellence.
