The nursing functions may include, but are not limited to, weekly assessments, medication administration, vitals, medical appointments, consultation with physical health physicians and the psychiatrist for the overall medical care for these young individuals who often times experience complex medical needs. The Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program serves adolescents, who may be dually diagnosed with mental health and intellectual developmentally disabled diagnoses, in a trauma informed care environment.
