Structural Technologies is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group.We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the warehouse located in Columbia, MD. As a Manufacturing Technician for TSTRATA, you will be accountable for product manufacturing, packaging, and shipping support.The successful candidate will also be responsible for:Set-up and operation of production equipmentMaintain accurate production logs of finished goodsInspection of raw materials for defects and required traceabilityQuality control testing of finished productsPackaging and labeling of finished productsCollaborate with engineering and management to improve production rates and efficiencyPerform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of equipmentOrganize inventory and maintain accurate stock recordsOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.Maintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow all safety procedures and company policiesAll other duties as assignedCandidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:High school diploma or GEDUnderstanding and experience with machinery, assembly tools, and basic troubleshooting3+ years of experience in a warehouse, shop, plant environment preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office products preferredForklift experience preferredUp to 10% travel may be required for this positionOur ideal candidate is solution-oriented and can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.
