Project Manager - MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Client: Leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Client Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire $60-70/hr Overview We are seeking an experienced MES Project Manager to support large-scale Manufacturing Execution System (MES) initiatives at a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Indianapolis. This individual will lead cross-functional teams to deliver MES-related projects that enhance manufacturing efficiency, compliance, and digital transformation within a highly regulated environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth potential with an industry-leading organization. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end MES project delivery from initiation through implementation and stabilization Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources across multiple workstreams Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality, IT, Validation, Automation, and external vendors Oversee MES system configuration, deployment, integration, and lifecycle management Ensure compliance with FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements Facilitate risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes Support validation activities including documentation, testing (IQ/OQ/PQ), and audit readiness Drive alignment between business requirements and technical execution Provide executive-level reporting on project status, milestones, and risks Required Qualifications 7+ years of project management experience within regulated manufacturing environments 3+ years leading MES implementations or enhancements in pharmaceutical or biotech settings Experience with MES platforms such as Syncade, PAS-X, PharmaSuite, or similar Strong understanding of GxP, CSV (Computer System Validation), and FDA regulatory requirements Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Life Sciences, or related field Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large pharmaceutical manufacturing sites PMP certification or equivalent project management credential Experience with SAP integration and enterprise systems Familiarity with automation systems (DeltaV, PLCs, SCADA) Experience in digital manufacturing or Industry 4.0 initiatives Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
