Remote Spanish-Bilingual Patient Navigator (Mental Health)

Your ability to fluently communicate in both Spanish and English will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Your daily tasks will include scheduling appointments, maintaining client records, responding to inquiries, and supporting administrative duties. You will interact daily with both patients and mental health providers. This is a fast growing and highly flexible startup with great potential for growth.RequirementsResponsibilities:Schedule and coordinate appointments for Spanish and English-speaking clients, ensuring accurate and timely communication. Explain Patient Financial Responsibility in a completely transparent and easy-to-understand fashion and collect deductibles and co-paysMaintain thorough and up-to-date client records, adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations. Respond to phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in both Spanish and English, providing accurate and helpful informationAssist with administrative tasks such as data entry and billing processesHandle crisis situations calmly and professionally, following established protocolsDemonstrate empathy, respect, and cultural understanding to create a supportive environmentUphold strict confidentiality and privacy guidelines when handling sensitive client informationQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languagesMust work in a HIPPA compliant environmentPrevious experience in a receptionist or administrative role in a healthcare setting, preferably in a mental healthFamiliarity with mental health terminology and practices is a plusStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitaskProficiency in computer systems and software (e.g., MS Office, Athena electronic medical records, etc.)Compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
