Advanced Practice Provider Resident - Critical Care Residence Program

The University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC) is seeking highly motivated Nurse Practitioner Residents to join our Critical Care Residency Program for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This is a one-year, post-graduate training program designed to prepare APPs for advanced practice in critical care medicine through structured education, simulation-based learning, and supervised clinical experience. Program OverviewThe Critical Care APP Residency Program provides immersive training across medical and surgical intensive care units, combining hands-on clinical practice with didactic education and simulation training. Residents will gain experience managing critically ill patients with complex, multi-organ failure across a wide range of specialties.
