Summary The driver trainer is responsible for conducting driver orientation, vehicle handling procedures, and follow-up training, including annual revalidations and driver audits. This role supports all departmental training needs and ensures that trainees adhere to training protocols, driving standards, and road safety policies. Responsibilities Primary Train all employees, ensuring they understand all requirements Communicate clearly and concisely, with strong presentation skills Manage driver revalidations, accident reviews, annual validations, and audits to ensure policy compliance Assess training needs for driver trainees and report employee concerns to the training supervisor Secondary Conduct impromptu site and yard visits to monitor compliance with driving and road safety policies. Assist in other departments as needed, including the yard department when not conducting driver training.
