This role is responsible for operating pelletizing and production equipment, monitoring product quality, supporting material handling activities, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with processing and packaging equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction OperationsOperate pellet mill and related processing equipment safely and efficientlyMonitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and throughputStart up, shut down, and clean production equipment in accordance with SOPsFollow production schedules and batch instructions accuratelyAssist with packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished productsEquipment & TroubleshootingIdentify and report mechanical or operational issues promptlyPerform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments on production equipmentSupport preventative maintenance and housekeeping activitiesMaintain clean and organized work areas around production lines and equipmentMaterial HandlingMove raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipmentAccurately complete production documentation and inventory transactionsEnsure materials are staged properly for production runsSafety & QualityFollow all safety, PPE, environmental, and quality proceduresAdhere to GMP and manufacturing standardsParticipate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a strong attention to detail to ensure product consistency and qualityQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous pellet mill experience required. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills strongly preferredForklift experience preferredAbility to read and follow work instructions and production documentationComfortable working around industrial processing equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
