This position is eligible for hybrid telework. Employees living within 50 miles of the office location listed above will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month. Employees may reside outside the state of Minnesota if they live in a state bordering Minnesota and are within 50 miles of the primary work location. Existing employees who were approved to telework from a bordering state and more than 50 miles from their work location before June 1, 2025, may retain this arrangement unless they move farther away.
In this role, you will provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the Achievement & Integration program initiatives as directed under Minnesota Statues 124D.861. You will be responsible for guiding and coordinating A&I implementation, ensuring compliance with legal and budgetary requirements and advising on A&I districts progress towards the advancement of racial and economic integration, increasing student achievement, creating equitable educational opportunities and reducing academic disparities based on students racial, ethnic and economic backgrounds in Minnesota public schools.
Minimum Qualifications

6 years of professional experience managing equity, diversity, and/or inclusion programming
OR
A bachelor's or master's degree and 5 years of professional experience managing equity, diversity, and/or inclusion programming
Experience must include
Educational equity experience
Experience with anti-bias and anti-racist principles, practices, and strategies
Past supervisory or managerial experience that includes direct oversight of staff
Experience implementing Achievement & Integration initiatives in alignment with state requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Coaching and/or mentoring leaders and educators to increase effectiveness
Experience administering and managing grants
Experience building strong relationships with schools, districts, and/or charters, and community partners
Experience leading professional staff and working with a wide variety of stakeholders
School leadership or school administrator experience
