An experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) is sought for an 8-hour day shift position focusing on cardiac device care. This contract opportunity is based in La Crosse, Wisconsin, with the assignment length set at approximately 13 weeks. The role requires handling and interpreting cardiac device transmissions, making independent clinical judgments, and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced hospital and cardiology clinic environment.Key Qualifications & Experience:Active RN license and current AHA BLS and ACLS certificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience working with cardiac devices, including remote transmission managementProficiency in interpreting urgency levels (Red, Yellow, Green) of transmissions and managing next steps independently or through delegationExperience with EPIC charting system within the last year is mandatoryMurj system experience highly preferred but not requiredLocation Details: This assignment takes place in La Crosse, WI, a scenic city known for its beautiful river vistas and friendly community atmosphere. La Crosse offers a welcoming environment with access to plenty of outdoor activities, cultural events, and a moderate cost of living, making it an appealing place for healthcare professionals pursuing contract roles.Responsibilities:Manage and investigate 12-20 patient cardiac device transmissions dailyCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the hospital and cardiology clinic settingsMaintain adherence to hospital protocols, including dress code compliance (navy bottoms with black or white tops)Participate in orientation and compliance requirements promptly upon hireWork Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMNo call, weekend, or holiday shifts (unit closed during holidays)Guaranteed set hours per week except during holiday closuresAdditional Information:Contract length: 13 weeksOrientation includes 8 unbillable hoursFlexibility to float within hospital departments and cardiology clinicCandidates must begin compliance medical portion within 48 hours of offer acceptance
