The Merchant Services Representative will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, and supporting merchants with payment processing and business solutions tailored to their needs.Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting, appointment setting, meeting with business owners, presenting payment and POS solutions, onboarding new accounts, managing merchant relationships, troubleshooting basic service issues, and identifying opportunities to expand client value over time. This role serves as both a sales driver and trusted advisor, helping clients improve their payment systems while working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth experience.QualificationsStrong sales, communication, and relationship-building skillsExperience in merchant services, payment processing, POS, SaaS, or related business solutionsAbility to prospect, set appointments, and close new businessConfidence presenting solutions to business owners and decision-makersStrong customer service mindset with the ability to manage and grow client relationshipsOrganized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple accounts and opportunities effectivelyTechnical comfort with payment terminals, POS systems, and software platformsProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft OfficePrior experience in outside sales, account management, or business development preferredRelevant experience and proven performance preferred over formal education
