This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact our organization and customer outcomes. The successful candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience in sales, manufacturing and/or engineering. The ability to communicate well and work with others is essential, as this position will interact daily with multiple internal and external teams.The Outside Sales Engineer is responsible for the following job duties:Selling DMG Distribution Products to select accountsPromoting the product lines we represent and the DMG name.Assisting customers with their operational objectives by advising on proper application and selection of equipmentProvide technical support on our product linesDevelop and maintain solid working relationships through verbal and written correspondence with customers and the manufacturers we representPeriodic travel for training, industry meetings and customer entertainmentExperience:5-7 years of successful direct, outside sales experienceHVAC and/or Construction ExperienceMechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Degree preferred, but will consider equivalent direct industry related job experienceCritical Skill Set:Must be extremely detailed oriented and self-motivatedCustomer service and sales drivenSolid interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and writtenSuccessful negotiatorThrives in a fast paced, multi-task environmentCompensation:$80-$130k annually DOE, plus generous commission structureWe offer excellent health benefits, a 401(k) Plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and flexible scheduling.DMG is a part of Ambient Enterprises.
