Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products are stored, picked, packed, and dispatched seamlessly. Shift: 11am - 7 pm Pay Rate: $ 19.21 + 15% shift prem Duties Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and completeness Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and loaders while adhering to safety protocols Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order pickers and packaging tools to meet delivery deadlines Stock shelves efficiently through proper inventory management, including replenishing stock and organizing warehouse distribution areas Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 or MRP software to track inventory levels, update records, and manage order processing Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and compliance during shipping & receiving processes to facilitate smooth logistics operations Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing regular stocking, sorting, and housekeeping tasks in accordance with safety standards Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software for inventory control Skilled in order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, order picking, and packaging techniques Competent in using RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and order processing Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Experience with e-commerce logistics workflows is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock management and order processing Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist where your expertise will drive operational success!
