Early Childhood Lead Trainer

CHILD CARE CONNECTION JOB OPPORTUNITIES Early Childhood Lead Trainer Rate: $56,000 - $57,000 Status: Exempt Do you have a passion for ensuring young children receive high-quality care and education? Do you enjoy creating and presenting workshops to child care professionals? Come join us! Child Care Connection has an opening for an experienced education professional to provide training and technical assistance to child care center staff, family child care educators, and the local community, as well as assist in the development and maintenance of early childhood training programs, quality assessments, and educational resources. Duties: Prepare and present training on early care and education topics to center- and home-based providers Manage training calendar and submit annual training plan Use data systems to track training offerings and surveys/evaluations Work closely with state and local early childhood systems and key partners Attend ongoing professional development and role-related meetings Implement guidance received from funders Support department activities as needed Valuable Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and develop trusting relationships Flexibility and time management Presentation skills and knowledge of adult learning principles Use of Microsoft Office, data systems, and technology Bilingual in Spanish a plus Requirements: Master’s degree in early childhood education or other child growth and development-related field Flexible hours (some evenings and weekends are mandatory) Use of own car for travel Working knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice At least 5 years direct experience working with children and families Demonstrated experience in training and consultation activities to the early care and education workforce Job Type: Full-time Pay: $56,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: Master's (Required) Experience: Direct experience with children & families: 5 years (Required) Language: English (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
