A healthcare network in Texas is currently seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Urgent Care team at one of their facilities in Arlington. The qualified, licensed professional selected with role will have to travel to the network's other facilities on occasion. Travel reimbursement will be available! Responsibilities:The Urgent Care Physician will:Provide and managedirect patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatmentPerform therapeutic procedures, such as I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound careDocument and chart patient information in line with current policies and proceduresDevelop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of careCommunicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional informationPrescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditionsOrder diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviation from normalPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:2+ years of Clinical experience in an Ambulatory Care, Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care settingGraduate of an accredited School of MedicineLicensed to practice medicine in the State of TexasBoard EligibleDEA license with no restrictionsComputer savvy and working knowledge of Clinical Management systems (EMR)Desired Skills:Board CertifiedYour privacy is important to us.
