Director, Internal Communications & Administrative ServicesWalker Elliott team is working with an upstream oil and gas company seeking a Director, Internal Communications & Administrative Services to lead internal communications, employee experience, and workplace operations. This is a highly visible, hands-on, onsite role partnering closely with senior leadership and HR. This position is with well-capitalized upstream operator recognized for its disciplined strategy, strong financial performance, and commitment to returning value to shareholders - while maintaining a lean, collaborative, and high-impact culture.Key Responsibilities• Lead internal communications, ensuring clear, consistent messaging across the organization• Partner with HR and leadership on employee experience, engagement, and culture initiatives• Support executive and company-wide communications, including major initiatives and change management• Oversee corporate website and assist with external communications (press releases, disclosures, etc.)• Manage Houston office operations, facilities, vendors, and workplace environment• Support company events, employee programs, and community engagement efforts• Provide leadership to administrative staff and oversee related budgets and processesQualifications• Bachelor's degree required• Strong experience in corporate/internal communications within upstream oil & gas or energy• Ability to support senior leadership and manage cross-functional initiatives• Experience with workplace operations or facilities is a plus• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on, solutions-oriented approachDo not apply unless you are authorized to work in the United States for any employer as client company cannot sponsor or transfer visas at this time.Walker Elliott is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
