We are searching for a skilled and compassionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Madras, OR.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive dermatological services to patients of all ages.Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.Develop and implement effective treatment plans.Order and interpret diagnostic testsEducate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.Assist patients throughout consultations to identify their goals and help them decide the correct procedure to achieve optimal resultsCollaborate effectively with the dermatology team on cases requiring integrated care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).Follow HIPPA, all patient privacy and other health codesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive patient experience.Support back office with medical questions, concerns and patient follow upsProvide high-quality service by following protocols at all timesPerform additional duties as assigned to support practiceJob Type: Full TimeSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PMRequirementsQualifications:Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon.Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.Board certification (or eligibility for certification) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.Experience in primary care is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.Strong clinical skills and knowledge base.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (experience with EMA is a plus).Special interest in dermatologic procedures and management of skin disorders.
