Trade Outreach & Business Development Representetive

We are a high-end, gallery-style flooring showroom in Brooklyn specializing in wide-plank European oak, custom flooring solutions, herringbone, chevron, and architecturally driven materials for residential and development projects throughout NYC.This is a hybrid outreach-focused position centered around relationship development and trade networking.The role is not focused on retail showroom sales or project closing.Responsibilities include:• outreach to interior designers, architects, builders, developers, and luxury contractors• visiting design offices, project sites, and industry events throughout NYC• LinkedIn, Instagram, email, and phone outreach• developing long-term trade relationships• generating qualified meetings and project opportunities• maintaining organized follow-ups and communication• professionally representing the showroom within the design and construction communityIdeal candidate:• strong communication and interpersonal skills• polished and professional presentation• highly organized and consistent with follow-ups• proactive, persistent, and self-motivated• comfortable with in-person outreach and networking• existing industry relationships are a strong advantage• experience in luxury interiors, construction, flooring, kitchens, tile, stone, or related industries preferredCompensation depends on whether the candidate is entry-level or experienced.The role offers a base salary plus a commission structure tied to originated relationships/accounts, applicable to the first converted project generated through those connections, along with performance-based bonus opportunities.
